Sharon Green

Financial Advisor

For the past 28 years, Sharon has been in the investment and financial planning field, and is currently an Investment Advisor Representative through Woodbury Financial Services. Committed to demystifying investments, she has dedicated her efforts to education.  She was integral in the development of online courses for financial planners in the CFP program at WCTC, and spent over 15 years teaching at Alverno College, Cardinal Stritch College, Concordia University, Marquette University, and WCTC.
Sharon has a unique approach to the planning process which combines not just the basics of financial planning and asset management, but all aspects of life planning.  Her experience focuses on communication and human psychology, which provides a uniquely satisfying and financially rewarding experience. For years, Sharon shared her expertise on a weekly investment show, Milwaukee’s WISN 1130, during which she helped callers sort out the quandary created by the media & financial “gurus.”Trained in mediation & facilitation, she is passionate about the necessity of communication and transparency.

Sharon is a veteran, and served 36 years in the U.S. Army Reserve. She retired in 2014 as a Lieutenant Colonel. She spends her spare time with her husband, brother, and 2 rescue dogs.  She is an animal advocate, and is frequently re-homing or rehabbing pets through her Home-At-Last Pet Rescue & Re-homing non-profit organization.
